About Us

Pink Voltage FTC Team #33509 is Canada’s first free, all-girls, community-based FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team. We are a youth-led STEM organization focused on making robotics, engineering, and technology accessible to girls and gender-diverse students regardless of financial background. We're more than just robots; we're about confidence, belonging, and leadership.

What Makes Pink Voltage Special?

Pink Voltage provides a free, supportive space for girls to explore STEM and robotics without feeling left out. Girls can join regardless of money, school, or experience. Everyone gets hands-on experience with building, coding, and problem-solving. It’s a space where girls can lead, try, fail, learn, and grow together. Members see real role models who look like them in STEM.

Why Pink Voltage Exists

Pink Voltage proves girls belong in STEM. When barriers are removed, they don’t just participate, they lead. We want to inspire girls to join STEM and robotics, showcase our impact, outreach, and competitions, and provide clear information for parents, sponsors, mentors, and community partners. We also share resources to help other rookie FTC teams succeed.

For Parents Considering Pink Voltage

Pink Voltage is a safe, supportive, and completely free environment where your daughter will be encouraged to learn, lead, and believe in herself. She doesn’t need prior experience—just curiosity. Through robotics and teamwork, she’ll build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of belonging, all while being surrounded by mentors and teammates who genuinely want her to succeed.

“Seeing them made me want to try.”

That moment—that spark of possibility—is the impact Pink Voltage aims to create, both within the team and in the wider community.
