Community Impact
Pink Voltage creates impact by making STEM accessible, inclusive, and visible for girls in our community. As Canada’s first free, all-girls community robotics team, we remove financial and social barriers that often prevent girls from exploring engineering and technology.
Through community outreach, school visits, public demonstrations, and mentoring, we actively bring STEM beyond competition spaces. We share our robot, our process, and our experiences to show students and families that robotics and engineering are welcoming and achievable.
Our outreach focuses on inspiring younger girls by giving them direct exposure to hands-on STEM and female role models. Many participants leave saying they feel more confident trying robotics or technology for the first time after meeting our team.
Within Pink Voltage, members grow into leaders who mentor others and give back to the community. Girls who once doubted their abilities become confident speakers, builders, and advocates for STEM, creating a ripple effect that extends far beyond our team.
Our impact isn’t just measured by competitions — it’s measured by confidence built, opportunities created, and the growing presence of girls in STEM spaces across our community.
Community Outreach
As Canada’s first free, all-girls rookie robotics team, Pink Voltage is dedicated to sharing our love for STEM and robotics with our community. Even as a new team, we are committed to inspiring others and growing opportunities for students to explore technology.
